Dear Woodworkers:Standing Next To A Snakewood Tree

We are pleased to present our extensive range of both domestic and exotic hardwoods, specially cut and prepared for cabinetmakers, carvers, knife makers, musical instrument makers and wood turners.

Amazon Exotic Hardwoods begins its operations in the forest and woodlots of South America, South East Asia and the Pacific Northwest.  We have much of our timber harvested, practicing sound forest management and conservation techniques such as select cutting required by local government agencies.  We strive to achieve consistent high levels of quality that set us aside from others.

In the months and years ahead, we will continue to search around the world for interesting wood species and our website offers an up-to-date listing.

On August 25, 2008 we added 2 new specie of imported limber: African Paduk and Black Limba and 2 new specie of turning blanks: Goncalo Alves/Tigerwood and Macassar Ebony!

On December 14, 2007 we added 2 new species: Madrone Burl and Teak Burl!

On April 15, 2007 we added 2 new sizes of Amboyna Burl, 8 new sizes of Bubinga, and 6 new sizes of Thuya Burl!

We look forward to serving you soon!

Sincerely,

James E. Lie
